Thank you for considering spa treatments with us. Our goal is to make sure you have an enjoyable experience on your visit. Below is important information about your upcoming visit.
We recommend you make a reservation for spa treatment at least 24–48 hours in advance. This helps ensure the spa treatments you desire will be available.
Spa appointments must be reserved with a credit card to secure your reservation. You can do this online by clicking on Make a Reservation above, or by calling (775) 783-0788. With services of 50 minutes or more, you are free to enjoy the hot springs and all rituals available.
You may cancel or reschedule, without charge, up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Appointments cancelled between 24 and 12 hours prior to the appointment are subject to a 50% charge of the services scheduled. Appointments cancelled less than 12 hours prior to the appointment are subject to a 100% charge of the services scheduled.
Please arrive 15–25 minutes prior to your appointment to become familiar with our spa and to prepare for your services.
Children under 10 years of age may not receive spa treatments. Children 10–15 years must have a parent or legal guardian present during spa treatment.
Tipping is customary. An 18% gratuity will automatically be added to your final spa services UNLESS you instruct us not to do so. Please inform the spa receptionist if you would prefer to leave your own gratuity. Envelopes are available at the spa reception desk for this purpose.
To ensure the highest quality service, we would appreciate if you could take a moment to fill out a comment card. Cards are available at the spa reception desk. Thank you.
Shaving is not recommended prior to any body treatments or hair removal services. For men, shaving is recommended, but not necessary, prior to a facial. If you choose to shave, be sure to do so at least two hours prior to your spa appointment.
This is your time, and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it's the room temperature, massage pressure or the volume of the music, please notify us of any discomfort or preferences you may have at any time during your service. We request that cell phones be turned off in the spa.
Both the ladies and men’s locker areas have a dry sauna, eucalyptus steam room, restrooms and showers. Use of the fitness room is also included with your hot spring pass. Guests receiving spa treatments are encouraged to enjoy the relaxation rooms and fruit-infused water, as well as the hot springs and luxury locker room amenities before and after their treatments.
If you prefer a male or female therapist, please make your gender request when scheduling your appointment.
Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing. However, you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable. Your body is fully draped, except for the area being worked on, during all treatments. Before and after your treatment, robes and slippers are provided.
While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please notify the spa agent that you are pregnant when you make your appointment so he or she can offer guidance.
Please notify your spa reservation agent before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, physical ailments or disabilities, or are pregnant. If you have any concerns at all, please let us know. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.
By itself, sulfur is not toxic to our bodies. However, some people are highly allergic to relatives of sulfur. These can include substances such as sulfites and sulfa drugs. Contact your health care provider before soaking in the mineral water if you think you may be allergic to sulfur-containing substances.
It is recommended that you consult a physician before using a hot tub. It is not recommended for pregnant women or individuals with high blood pressure or those taking blood-thinning medications to use a hot tub. We do not recommend drinking alcohol in our hot tubs.
David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort & Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please do not leave unattended items in the locker room as they will be considered abandoned and placed in Lost & Found.
